Mohammed Usman Adamu popularly known by the name Magnito is a Nigerian Rapper from the “Idoma” tribe of Benue state, born and raised in Abuja where he had both his primary and secondary education.

He also obtained a degree in business management from the University of Jos. He started making rap music at the age of 19.

His first single ‘Medicine Girl’ in 2010 gave him a little bit of attention from music lovers and of course, boost his career to an extent. Then in 2016, he rose to fame after the release of his critically acclaimed single ‘If I get money ehn’ which was followed up with a remix featuring the dance-hall and reggae sensation, Patoranking.

Magnito is well known for his storytelling, comical lyrics and had recorded over 80 songs and has worked with top artistes such as Durella, Rayce, Phyno, Jaywon, Duncan Mighty, Patoranking, and a lot more.

When it comes to hip hop in Nigeria, he has proven himself just like M.I. Abaga, Ice Prince, Vector, Ruggedman, Mode 9, and the rest.
